Welcome to The Inclusive Educator. A blog dedicated to inclusive education enthusiasts.

My name is Chike Nnalue. I was born with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and throughout childhood education, I experienced many barriers to education which at the time I did not understand. I spent years trying to hide my identity not realising it is central to who I am and what I stand for.

I am based in London, United Kingdom and I have spent the last 10 years dedicate to working with children and young people who have additional learning needs and/or disabilities. I’ve always had an invested interest in learning needs, disability and inclusive education. My aim is to one day influence inclusive education practices and policies across the world.

As a big fan of inclusive education, I started this blog to contribute to discussions across the world about inclusive education for all children and young people, but with a particular focus on children with additional learning needs and/or disabilities. The purpose of inclusive education is education for all, embracing and celebrating individual differences. I welcome all who have an invested interest in inclusive education and special needs. Please comment, contribute and enjoy the discussions held on this blog.

Yours truly,
